COMPLIANCE PROGRAM

The term Compliance is derived from the English verb “to comply”, which means duty to comply, to be in compliance and to enforce internal and external rules. In the event of non-compliance, the company is subject to sanctions, financial loss, damage to reputation and image.

The Avenorte Compliance Program is comprised of the code of ethics, internal policies, ethics committee and the reporting channel. It aims to ensure that the Group's business is conducted in accordance with the highest standards of ethics and transparency in all its activities.

To this end, it establishes a set of procedures and controls with the objective of preventing, detecting and responding to risks of irregular conduct that fail to comply with the rules of the Code of Ethics, Internal Policies and legislation applicable to the business.
